Bumba Cake

Uhm Bumba… what is that?

I received a very nice message from the sister of an ex-collegae of my. Her son 2 year birthday was coming up and she was wondering if I could make a “Bumba” Cake.
I was like uhm???? What is a Bumba Cake….. I went online and google “Bumba”. To my surprise it was a children television show played by a very funny clown named “Bumba”
I found it very interesting and was more than happy to make this cake. I don’t have children yet, that’s why I didn’t know that “Bumba” was a clown.

I didn’t hesitate and told the sister of my ex-collegae, that I already have some ideas in my head for this Bumba Cake.

I saw that the most colours were: Yellow, Red, Green, Blue. Those colour had to be also bright because it was a children party.

I made my famous sponge cake. I filled the cake with strawberry buttercream and strawberry jam and covered the cake with marzipan.
